Our will fees
Our prices are fixed and quoted upfront. These are our current fees:
- Single will: £250. Includes 12 months of free storage and a fully advised service.
- Mirror wills for a couple: £350. Two matching wills, with 12 months of free storage and a fully advised service.
- Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney: £700. A single will plus both types of LPA.
- Property Protection Trust with mirror wills and four LPAs: £1,295. For couples who want to protect the family home.
The package prices include a saving compared with buying each document separately. If your package includes LPAs, the Office of the Public Guardian charges its own registration fee on top. Read how the OPG fee works. The full list is on our fees and costs page.
What affects the price
A straightforward will, where everything goes to a spouse and then to children, is the simplest case. The cost goes up when the situation is more complex. Common reasons are:
- Children from previous relationships, or a blended family
- Wanting to leave money in trust, for example for young children or a vulnerable relative
- Protecting the family home for the next generation
- Business interests or property abroad
- Inheritance tax planning
We will tell you in the first conversation whether your situation is simple or needs more, so the price is clear before you commit.
Is the cheapest option the best value?
A will that is badly written, or signed incorrectly, can be invalid or unclear. If that happens, your estate may be shared out under the intestacy rules instead of your wishes, or your family may end up in a dispute. The cost of putting that right is far higher than the cost of getting it done properly the first time.
Some charities run free or discounted will schemes at certain times of year. They usually ask you to consider leaving a gift to the charity, and they are worth knowing about if that suits you.

Quick answers
Common questions
Do you charge a deposit?
We typically ask for a deposit. The amount depends on what you need, and we confirm it with your quote.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. We give a clear quote upfront. The only extra cost in a package that includes LPAs is the Office of the Public Guardian registration fee, which is set by the government, not by us.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. We offer a complimentary initial consultation to talk through your wishes.
